N-Acetyl Epitalon Peptide Key to Reducing Aging
N-Acetyl Epitalon, also known as N-Acetyl Epitalon Amidate, is a synthetic version of the naturally occurring peptide Epitalon. Epitalon itself is a tetrapeptide, consisting of four amino acids: alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and glycine. This peptide was discovered by Russian scientist, Professor Vladimir Chavinson, who studied its effects on aging and longevity.
Acetylation of Epitalon (adding an acetyl group) increases its stability and bioavailability, making it more effective when administered. N-Acetyl Epitalon is primarily known for stimulating the production of telomerase, an enzyme that plays a key role in maintaining the length and integrity of telomeres – structures located at the ends of chromosomes that protect them from damage.
